30/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: SPEND MORE TIME BONDING WITH MY SON

Few more days and summer will be over. Although i could not fill - up the 60 things i need to do within the 60 days of summer, I am thankful to God because I was able to spend more time with my son.

I intended April and May month as vacation from toxicness from school so I could spend more time with Destiny and built a much stronger mother and child relationship, and Hurrah! Summer is so fulfilling. Me and Destine have a lot of good time together. We are more closer now than ever.

June comes a little bit of a rest from trip,
because Mom will be going to school again, but it doesn't mean our bonding moment shall stop from here. We have more blast to come, so hold on!

I Love you, little darling.

Two feet tiny and big, are we there yet?

29/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: VACCINATION OF BABY DESTINE

My son had his last vaccine in about six months now. His suppose schedule was last May 10 but since of my busy days i forgo with the days and I only got free this time. I've been postponing the vaccine since I was thinking he might have fever after receiving it and I don't have a long time to sit and take care of him, because I am always out. Good that I was free this week end, hence I towed him to his Pedia.

I cannot picture our scene when we're there but my boy is not easy to handle when it comes to situation like this. I have my patience in full and bagged thousands of tricks so we can carry on.Nonetheless, he got his vaccine just the same. I'll just have to watch out for some fever as side effects. Thank God, we  had this done.

28/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: LAWN TENNIS LESSON

As i have posted earlier in this blog, we made an inquiry and scheduled our first lawn tennis clinic. But it turned out that my colleague has unexpected errands on that day so they we're not able to come.  Nevertheless, I went  on alone.

I was so excited to learn and play lawn tennis again. Our session lasted for an hour and I was taught with the basic stance, support and proper gripping the racket.

The trainer encouragement is great. He said I am a fast learner and I can be an expert within a month or two continuous and daily practice. Oh really? I just laughed at him.  I don't know if he is just joking or not. Ha! Ha!

I said this is such an expensive hobby, if we will do it twice a day in a month or two. But the skill you will learn later is worth it.

I'll be posting more on this sports so stay still. Likewise, I'll make a separate post on this at Destiny's blog with topics, being a Mom you need to stay fit, healthy and sporty and feel good all the time.

27/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: LAWN TENNIS CLINIC INQUIRY

I've meet new friends in Law school and this friends happened that we share the same likings on things and leisure. Well, probably yes, because we all have same loving of Law. Hence, this friendship formed and we tend to go out for some food trips and leisure. One thing that we talked about before last semester was over is that we play lawn tennis this summer. But because of our business in life, we only made a date on inquiring the rules and regulations of the lawn tennis clinic in our local.

With that, we agreed that we will going to do our first lesson today. So stay tuned. :)

26/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: FAREWELL SIR G

I haven't thought that i will goodbye to sir G this summer. In fact I've been anticipating for the start of class in June, since I'm suppose to take Criminal Procedure in his class. But such will never gonna happen anymore, since he is not here on earth anymore. Yesterday, we went to his place to see him for the last time. Our heart saddened for his lost. We may never know the unraveling truth of his death, but the persona he portrays while mentoring us will remain.

Farewell sir G!

25/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: ADVANCE BIRTHDAY TREAT

Part of my task in accomplishing the random thing is to treat my colleagues who helped me in doing this job. But, aside from that we call this food trip as a teaser for my upcoming birthday. We pig out at Cafe Michelle at Hotel Roma, Tuguegarao City. The group tried the cafe's specialty, the Crispy Pata and Pizza and then we have our individual orders. For me, i asked for Carbonara, one asked for Bihon and three ordered dinuguan with puto. Why our tummy really had a good time that day.

24/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: TRIP TO SANCTUARY, STA. VICTORIA, ILAGA CITY

This post is originally posted in Destiny's blog so i just reposted it here.

Sanctuary, Sta. Victoria, Ilagan City, is known as a tourist spot in the province of Isabela. The first time I've learned about this is when I've watched it in a local TV news where it was featured. The sanctuary has many different attractions, like zip line, cable cars, canopy, caving, boating, swimming pools, water falls, etc. and the mini zoo. I got interested with the mini zoo and thereon, I made a promised to myself that one day on this summer I'm gonna bring Destine there, so he could see some rare animals in person.
With my earnest desire to make a trip to Sanctuary, me and Chelle my colleague made plans of going there. Thus, last May 16 we call it a family day for us and head on.
It was my first trip to Isabela with Destine. I knew it would be toxic to travel with a toddler without someone to assist me with Destine and our belongings. But i took the courage to go, knowing that I still have company and it would be a fun trip for Destine.
We took an ordinary van in going to Sta. Victoria where we will meet Chelle's kids and hubs. Chelle's family took charge for this trip. Hence, I am so thankful for them in making this fun trip realized. We made this trip just for Destine, everything else is secondary.
We were supposed to go to Batanes, but seems it wasn't the proper time for Destine so we call it off and stay.
On the other hand, Destine was so delighted with the sights and all the things he saw which is new to him.
We showed him different animals.

He's excited and aware that this is not his usual routine, and since I cannot trust his walks and turns here, I just carried him all the time.

We walked from area to area and my young man is quite heavy. I could feel the 37 degrees temperature, so it's a little bit uncomfortable to make a luxurious tour. Why, it was a time of middle of the day. But everything can be endured for the sake of fun. Ha! ha! ha!
We rented our own hut inside where we lunched and cool down. Other kids did boating while we just stayed. Destine hasn't slept until three o'clock in the afternoon as he became weary due to very warm temperature.

I regretted to haven't captured the nice sight because I cannot let go of Destine, but maybe in our next trip when Destine can do it on his own, I can make a good photograph of the nices view.
We went back to Tuguegarao at almost 5pm that same day and Destine was still on his excited mood despite being tired, he watched rice fields and cows on the way.
While my Destine had a nice day on this trip, I cannot complain of body ache and dehydration because of carrying him all the time. It's my role to carry him and i had a vow to bring him and we'll see the world together.

From hereon and onwards!

Happy Journey!!!

23/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: RANDOM

I worked on this random thing for three consecutive days, in this past days, that's why I was not able to post on time the big event of my son's 2nd birthday on his own  blog.

Then i also had some works in between, in short i got busied previously. I also got depressed with the tragic death of one of our professor in law school, so my serotonin was in it's lowest, I cannot think of anything better recently.

Gladly, i was able to finish the three-days random task, but there's another schedule next week and i hope i would be able to cope up with my countdown. Summer is gonna be over soon, but my counting has not even came to half.

Whoa! Summer!

FEELING SAD

Early morning yesterday, I was shocked to received the news that one of our Professor in Law School was killed the other night right after his class. Atty. G as we call him is notorious in failing his students who doesn't meet his criteria in passing his subject. I was under him for two semesters with subjects Criminal Law. He got unique ways of teaching his subject. His style drives you to study harder. But will you? If he doesn't call for recitation nor check the attendance? Did he mean not to worry in going to his class without reading notes, because you will not be called to recite, anyway? Or better get absent, after all  he doesn't checked attendance, too? Yet, here's the deal, Never mind the aforestated facts just make sure to pass his exams, because the only basis he got in giving you grades is the score that he gave you in your exam. So, with these i don't need to state my comments on his style of teaching.  Nonetheless, he had given me some ideas on how to study and make it in Law school.

well, I just remembered him that way and in fact, his subject is my favorite subject thus far.

Anyway, Life is indeed very short, hence, we can only savor each day of our stay in this temporary world.

Rest in peace sir G.

22/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: 2ND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

I am still on my hectic day but I intended the 7th of May a day to celebrate my sons Birthday. It happened as a simple kids get together and at the end of the day it was a huge success for me. I was there all the time and I saw how happy my son were.

I was so excited to wake up that day, my Mama and I prepared early in cooking the foods but as soon as Destine woke up, I left Mama the cooking and attended to the birthday boy. We went to church first and then buy a cake. Then we went to my office where the get together was held.

I haven't prepared any games for the kids, it was just an open play for them with sweet servings every now and then and I saw them all enjoying just as it is. Later, the birthday wishes, candle blowing and the Happy Birthday song.

Eat. Eat. Eat.

My son fallen asleep after.

I let him rest for a while then, because there is another party that we shall be holding in the afternoon at our place, wherein we invited kids in our neighbors.

But my birthday boy is kinda tired maybe that he does not cooperate well in picture taking anymore.

But here's what we got in the afternoon celebration. There's almost same food served in our morning celebration minus the ice cream and this time it's a different cake. :)

But in all it was an equal elation for me as the planner of this event and seeing my son awed in people and things. Celebrating 2 years of life is an opportunity of more discoveries.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING DESTINE. I PROMISE WE SHALL SEE THE WORLD AND GET A LIFE TOGETHER.

At TWO (2) Our adventure BEGINS. BUCKLE UP MY DEAR! :)
